When I started thinking of revisiting Immortal Enemies, it is not common knowledge, but originally I started with a different concept in mind for what it would look like. This is basically what I was thinking... of course, that never came to fruition because I didn't think it looked enough like Warhammer in my head and the style wasn't really saving me any time. This is an Ork Kill Kroozer of course... which matches up roughly with the Kill Kroozer on page 3 of the published version.

Awesome, I've been having a hard time drawing ships for my comic (I have spent no time on my comic in a month, the Army takes up all my time and what little free time I have is wasted between building more stuff for my guard and marines and WoW.), its actually caused me to put page 4 on hiatus till I can get it right.

Why was this a failure?

Mostly, because it didn't really scream at me "Warhammer 40,000." This looks like a future where there could be something other than war, and it didn't save me any time to do it this way... thus, failure. It doesn't mean its a bad looking ship though.

Oh i think its good but maybe just needs to be build on it. A few additions and raw renditions. What im trying to say is it maybe it could be simplifeid in its construction as orks ussually have a raw build manor. with little funny details. if that helps but yet still great work.

Did you take a look at Immortal Enemies to see what I did end up going with? I think you might like the style as it is pretty consistent with some of the other things you seem to have liked in my gallery.
